📄How to Add or Remove Marketing Media for use on a Customer Facing Screen

This article covers the setup of Customer Screen Marketing Media.

Prerequisites

  • Windows Administrative User Access to the Bepoz Server 'Data' Folder

  • A media folder with new Media

Note:

Images must be of type .JPG and recommended less than 600Kb each, in size.

Videos must be of type .MP4, .WMV or .AVI (playable in Windows Media Player) and recommended less than 3MB in size.

Resolutions should be Full HD (1920x1080p) wherever possible, but please be aware of the actual resolution of your own Customer Facing Screen(s) as they can vary.

Setup

  • Copy the '.zip' file and place it in the [Drive Letter]:\Bepoz\Data folder

  • Find and Edit (double-click and open) the Media '.zip' file 

    The '.zip' file should open like any folder in Windows Explorer.

Editing/Removing Images

  • Delete any Images or Videos to be removed.

  • Drag and drop any new Media into the open folder ('.zip' file)

  • Close the Media '.zip' file (folder)

  • From Backoffice, (Top Menu) Click the Send button and choose the 'Send Database to All Local Tills'. On the Smart Controller, make sure you get the message "Media file sent OK".

Note: if in a Multi-Venue system, instead choose the Option 'Send Full Database to All Venues'
