📄MyLocalFoodie (MLF) Troubleshooting

This guide to troubleshooting the MyLocalFoodie (MLF) Integration.

Overview

The MyLocalFoodie integration sends a daily report of Bepoz Food Sorts or Sort Groups for the use in calculating Food costs.

This is a paid integration. Contact your Account Manager for more information.


 

Issue 1

Received Files Not Correctly formatted

 

Troubleshooting Issue 1

Being as the files are exported as CSV, which are Comma Separated Excel files, Product Names should NOT contain Commas.

1. Go through each exported daily file and identify the Culprit Products

2. Contact the Customer (POS Admin/Senior Management) and edit the Products (Short Name only) take out the Commas. But only those Sorts/Types that are exported to MLF, i.e Not all Products with Comms). Remove the Commas from the Product Names.

3. Send the full database to [all] Venues

4. Reprocess the corrupt (Missing) MLF files 

5. Confirm MLF have received the correct data files.

 

 

Issue 2

Files not Received.

 

Troubleshooting Issue 2

1. Open MLF folder and run MLF.exe

  • Check the paths.
  • Check the credentials in LastPass
  • Test in Filezilla

2. Check (Add) the Windows Firewall exceptions, In/Outbound and UDP/TCP for ports 21 and 22

  • Test the port at canyouseeme.org Should be successful (green).
  • Ask the IT team to add exceptions (port forwarding) in the Router.

 

3. Check the Scheduled Job. Did it Run?

Does the 'Run As' operator have the right permissions.
