About
SevenRooms is an online restaurant table reservation/booking system that has been integrated with Bepoz.
Bepoz receives real-time booking data and communicates back the updated Table Status data to SevenRooms
The SevenRooms integration with Bepoz allows for:
- Receiving real-time Booking data
- Sending Table Status updates from Bepoz to SevenRooms in real-time
- Ability to view Bookings in SmartPOS in a list, table map, and/or grid
- SevenRooms support Walk-in being created from SmartPOS
- SevenRooms also support table transfers from SmartPOS
Prerequisites
- Minimum Bepoz version of v4.7.2.0 and above
- For an operator to be able to setup SevenRooms integration, the following privileges must be enabled
- Enable General: "Operate Tills" Flag
- System Setup Flags: "Access Venue Stores & Tills" flag
- System Setup Flags: "Maintain Venue Stores & Tills" flag
- System Setup: "Maintain Till Function Maps" flag
- Operator Maintenance 'Till Privileges' Tab
- Operator Maintenance 'General' Tab
Key Features BackOffice Setup
- To implement the SevenRooms integration, a Transaction Queue and Till Extension Device both need to be created and configured
- Also, Till Function button(s) need to be configured in BackOffice on the Workstation(s) Till Function Map in order to retrieve bookings from SevenRooms to SmartPOS
- There are different workflows that can occur when using the Till Function(s) including the following:
- Retrieve reservations from SevenRooms and display them in a list, on a table map, or on a grid
- From the group of retrieved reservations, Operators can highlight a Reservation and then view its Booking Details
- Operators can also open the transaction for a reservation that has been confirmed in SevenRooms and continue it from SmartPOS
Note: For the interface to work, table numbers should match between SevenRooms and Bepoz.
SmartPOS Functionality
Depending on configurations, booking can be retrieved and viewed in SmartPOS in the following ways:
- Booking List
- Booking Grid
- Graphical Table Map
Once bookings are retrieved in SmartPOS, Booking Details for a specific booking can be viewed which will include customer data and information about the booking such as date, time, guest count, etc.
The operator can open the booking and perform different workflows from SmartPOS
- Course Statuses such as Away and Served are sent to SevenRooms as long as the Courses are configured within Table Settings for the Venue, and of course, the appropriate Table Course Till Function key is used.
