This article discusses what is Tyro ?
Overview
Tyro is an Australian EFTPOS provider and a long-standing Gold Standard Bepoz Partner.
“Tyro” is also the name of their EFTPOS terminals, which can be connected to Bepoz SmartPOS to process payments either:

as a Standard EFTPOS terminal, or
-
as a Pay @ Table device.
Both options require separate Tyro authorisation and activation.
Please contact your Account Manager to begin setup.
Prerequisites
To access Tyro payment features in BackOffice, these operator privileges must be enabled:

Tyro Standard EFTPOS
Tyro terminals can function as:
Standalone

Staff manually enter the amount into both Bepoz and the Tyro terminal.

No integration required.
Integrated

Payment instructions are sent from Bepoz directly to the Tyro terminal.

Requires internet connectivity (with 3G/4G/5G fallback).

Multiple tills can share a single integrated terminal.
Integrated is the recommended mode for speed, accuracy, and reduced errors.
Tyro Pay @ Table
The Pay @ Table integration allows staff to take the Tyro device to the customer’s table to process the payment from the POS account.
