Overview

This release introduces several valuable enhancements and stability improvements across SmartPOS, SmartRetail, loyalty integrations, and kitchen operations. Key updates include improved loyalty data support for NZESL, enhanced SmartRetail point redemption handling, KDS performance upgrades, reinstated condiment quantity-printing behaviour, and a new gross profit visibility tool for managers. Additionally, a range of fixes addresses issues with imports, data consolidation, tax calculations, gaming points, database upgrades, and NZESL export reliability—ensuring smoother, more accurate, and more efficient system performance.

New Features & Enhancements

  • Smart Retail Integration Enhancement - SmartRetail integration has been enhanced to send points redeemed in a transaction when Points redeem is linked to an order discount. 
  • Loyalty Promotions details are now sent to NZESL (Pricer) platform - Loyalty promotion details are now included in the data sent to NZESL, allowing loyalty-based pricing and promotions to display more accurately at the shelf.
  • Condiment Quantity printing - Changes have been reversed to reinstate the condiment quantity printing behaviour where quantity for condiment is printed only when the quantity is greater than 1.   
  • KDS Consolidation Improvements - KDS communication has been improved to support consolidated item handling directly on the KDS server, resulting in faster updates and more reliable kitchen workflows.
  • Gross Profit Check Function - A new function button is now available on SmartPOS to display gross profit and profit percentages for all items in a sale or quote — giving managers greater visibility into margins before finalising a transaction.

Fixes & Stability Improvements

  • Duplicate Empty Groups on Ebet Import - Resolved an issue where importing Ebet files could create duplicate empty groups.
  • Condiment Consolidation Issue - Fixed an issue where products without condiments weren’t consolidating correctly with those that had condiments.
  • Database Upgrade Stability - Addressed a problem during upgrades where duplicate transactions could cause database.exe to fail. Upgrades now complete successfully and consistently.
  • Tax and Line Item Recalculation - Fixed an issue that caused Ex Tax Difference and TotalEx values to recalculate incorrectly when editing purchase orders or manual receipts.
  • Max Gaming Points Redemption - Resolved an issue where multiple gaming points buckets didn’t function correctly when the Redeem Points for Cash Value Item setting was enabled.
  • NZESL Export Job Reliability - Fixed an issue that caused NZESL export jobs to hang when processed from a remote venue database.
