The Bepoz Product Team is thrilled to introduce our latest software release: Fortuna 4.8.2
As we wrap up the year, we're excited to deliver our final major release of the season, a release packed with significant new capabilities and system enhancements. Headlining this update is the launch of our new Self-Service Kiosk, built on the proven SmartPOS Mobile framework and fully integrated with the familiar Backoffice and SmartPOS applications for streamlined management.
This release also introduces two new integrations:

Vii Gift Cards, enabling seamless real-time gift card transactions, and
-
TicketIT Electronic Shelf Labels (ESL), providing automated product and pricing sync to support digital shelf-edge displays.
Alongside these major additions, we’ve included several improvements across the platform, including a new service charge framework, multi-POS login, graphical table transfers, and a simplified split-bill workflow, delivering a more intuitive and efficient experience for both operators and retailers.

Bepoz Kiosk is here!!
The 4.8.2.0 release introduces major enhancements to support the new Bepoz Self-Service Kiosk, offering a fully configurable and consistent ordering experience across venues. The Backoffice now features Kiosk Profiles, allowing venues to centrally manage branding, behaviour, and settings across multiple kiosk devices.
Keymap Sets provide a dedicated structure for optimizing menu layouts tailored to kiosk workflows, while the introduction of Allergen Tags enables customer-facing allergen information to be displayed directly on the kiosk.
The kiosk also integrates core SmartPOS capabilities, such as pricing, promotions, product rules, and menu configuration, ensuring seamless alignment with existing POS operations.
New & Enhanced Functionality
Service Charge Framework
The new service charge framework within Bepoz has been designed to elevate the Service charge concept to a dynamic, rules-driven & priority based with additional flexible options to configure based on different schedules.
Additionally, the new framework aims to centralize the Service charge setup in one place compared to different service charge setup configuration at Venues, Store and Price levels.
Simplified Split Bills
The Simplified Split Bill is a new workflow in Bepoz (introduced in version (4.8.2.0) designed to make it easier for operators to manage payments from multiple patrons at a table—without the need to create separate split tables manually. This feature streamlines the process, making it faster and more intuitive for both staff and customers.
New Interfaces
Vii Gift Cards
Vii is a leading gift card provider in Australia, offering a wide range of gift card solutions. The new integration between Bepoz and Vii enables seamless management of Vii gift cards directly within the Bepoz platform, enhancing the customer experience while streamlining gift card operations for retailers.
With this integration, Bepoz users can perform core gift card functions in real time, ensuring fast, secure, and reliable gift card transactions at the point of sale.

🎁 Gift Card Redemption
Customers can redeem Vii gift cards for purchases directly through the Bepoz system.
💳 Gift Card Loading
Retailers can load funds onto new or existing Vii gift cards within Bepoz, simplifying card issuance and reloading.
🔄 Undo (Transaction Reversals)
If Bepoz does not receive a response from the Vii service during a transaction, it can automatically reverse the operation to maintain system accuracy.
📊 Balance Inquiry
Users can check the balance of Vii gift cards within Bepoz, offering transparency and convenience at the point of sale.
Ticket It Electronic Shelf Labels
Ticket IT, a New Zealand-based technology provider, specializes in electronic shelf edge labelling (ESEL) and digital signage for the retail sector. This new integration between Bepoz and Ticket IT enables retailers to automate and streamline product ticketing by syncing live product data, promotional pricing, and stock updates directly from Bepoz into the Ticket IT platform.
The integration allows Bepoz to push relevant product information to Ticket IT in real time or at scheduled intervals, simplifying the creation and management of electronic shelf labels for shared retail clients.

🔄 Real-Time Product Synchronization
Bepoz syncs product data with Ticket IT’s Core Data service, providing a live, searchable product database for ESEL management.
🏷️ Promotional Batch Creation
Use Ticket IT’s Batch API to selectively create promotional batches, enabling time-sensitive or targeted pricing displays.
🔐 Secure API Integration
All data exchanges are authenticated via a static API key provided by Ticket IT, ensuring secure and controlled access.
